Bring new flexibility to plate-format digital microfluidics with the DropBot Well Plate Extender – Twins. Based on the DropBot Well Plate Extender, the Twins configuration separates the left and right pogo-pin interfaces into two independent halves, creating a full open gap between them for improved experimental access, custom chip layouts, and expanded integration possibilities.

Each side can be used independently, allowing users to operate a single 60-pin chip from either the left or right interface or a 120-pin chip using both. For more advanced workflows, both sides can be used simultaneously to control two separate 60-pin chips at the same time using a single DropBot. This split design makes the Twins ideal for parallel experiments, comparative assays, custom optical setups, or workflows that benefit from physical separation between chip interfaces.
